The Helix has many options to built a good tone, it is complex and you have too keep that in mind when you buy one. Sounds amazing, and has very flexible inputs/outputs. This is hands down the best money I've spent on guitar equipment. Metal housing looks solid and gives you that Top class feeling. Built my first preset in under 5 minutes.Д«uild quality is totally worth the price. Each effect has many parameters to configure so you can get that perfect sound you are looking for. It takes a little time to go through all effects an test them. On Helix you will find everything you need. There's no need to carry my tube amp on gigs anymore because amps on Helix sound even better. The main reason i bought this is amp modelling. Some of them were on my pedalboard just for one song on gig. We play well known songs in many different genres and styles. I am lead vocalist and guitar player in cover band. I've been real fan of all that pedalboard'n'amp stuff. Easy to use, sounding outstandingly good, being reliable with perfect warranty service is a must nowadays!

One thing though worth mentioning that Helix does all and weights nothing! That is always good for your back and for travel conveniance.ДЇor those who are interested, Helix Native is nothing like Helix floor, the zero latency and matched input preamp of the floor unit completely changed the perception of Helix software to me.Д¬an't recommend this enough to anyone, absolutely game changer in my case. Can't feel the difference so many speak so loudly. I can't say Helix + Headrush's 108 FRFR feels in hands and sounds to my ears anything but the same as a proper valve amp with 1x12 cab next to it. But the clean single coil things you can get out of this unit is mindboglinly good. I do abuse mostly cleans, sparkly Fenderish type tones and this thing does it better than I expected! It's not about the metal tones, I do not care how awesome they are. At least we all got great choices going into 2020 (let's see what NAMM brings us).I mean why did I waited so many years to switch to Helix Floor!!! Additionally, switching over from one rack effects system to another can be as easy as stepping on a switch for certain foot controllers.Дecisions, decisions. With two rack effects systems, both are contained in the same rack space and be on stage at the same time. Given the price of some of these all-in-one multi-effects units I'm not sure if I can buy two, and then working out the place for the backup in my rig will be challenging, too. What troubles me with multi-effects systems is that your whole sound is contained in one unit, and if that unit goes down you're in a bit of trouble (that hasn't happened to me yet but anything is possible). Quite frankly, I'd feel more confident putting together two rack units (one as the main piece and the other as backup). Right now those two units cover everything I need for effects, so there's no real sense of urgency.

#LINE 6 HELIX FX PLUS#

Right now I'm using the Line 6 POD HD500X and an old (as in discontinued) Line 6 Floor POD Plus units. I like HX effects, but I also like having a built-in expression pedal so Helix LT and Boss GT-1000 both qualify for my list. For example, GT-1000 has an amazing built-in support for PC, Android, and iOS (Android and iOS support allows for wireless customization with a mobile device via Bluetooth).
